The Teachers’ Day, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan’s birthday, was celebrated on September 5 at Arafa Institute of Training College, Attur with befitting programs. The theme of the Teachers’ Day 2023 was that “ Teachers are at the heart of the educational recovery.“ ‘Gurusparsam’, the Teachers’ Day celebration, was notable for its variety of events. Shifana a student from the Department of Mathematics welcomed the teachers and everyone to the function. Principal Dr. Shahna AM gave the inaugural address in the “Gurusparsam” program organized by the college. In the inaugural speech, the principal stated that the real teachers are the ones who know the heart of every student in front of them and that the love and respect between teachers and students should not be damaged in the current era. Then teachers were felicitated and gifts were presented to them. Various cultural programs performed by the students. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks by Fahiz ( Student , Department of English). The day by the way it was conducted gave emphasis to add meaning to noble profession of teaching, especially to the budding teachers.
