VISIT TO KERALA KALAMANDALAM The Government of India considers Kerala Kalamandalam to be the University of Art and Culture. It is a significant location for learning Indian performing arts, particularly those that originated in the Southern states of India, with a focus on Kerala. It is located on the banks of the Bharathapuzha river in the little town of Cheruthuruthi in the Thrissur District. In addition to teaching the ancient orchestra known as Panchavadyam, Kalamandalam also teaches classical dance and theater genres such Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, Kudiyattam, Thullal, Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, and Nangiar Koothu.
