The Arafa Institute for Teacher Education, Attur, celebrated
International Women’s Day on March 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to
12:00 PM, honoring the strength, resilience, and contributions of
women. As part of the event, an Essay Writing Competition was
organized on the theme “The Most Influential Personality (Woman) in Your Life, ” allowing students to express their admiration for women who have impacted their lives. Students enthusiastically participated, writing in English or Malayalam, and shared heartfelt stories about mothers, teachers, historical figures, and role models. The competition not only showcased diverse perspectives but also served as a meaningful tribute to inspiring women.

REFLECTION:
The celebration was more than an academic event; it encouraged
students to reflect on women’s influence in their lives and society.
The essays highlighted themes of gender equality, empowerment,
and gratitude, emphasizing both personal experiences and notable
female figures.
The event successfully fostered awareness and appreciation for
women's contributions, inspiring students to advocate for gender
equality. It left a lasting impact, reinforcing the importance of
celebrating women’s achievements beyond just Women’s Day.
